Straight answers.
The questions editors and media executives ask first, answered without hedging.
What is Newsmatic?
Newsmatic is an automated content production system for media organisations. It collects information from any digital source in any language, writes original articles in the editorial direction and house style you define, illustrates them with media you have the rights to use, and passes them to your editor for approval before publication. It produces finished articles rather than assisting a journalist who writes them.
Does it replace journalists?
No, and it is not designed to. It replaces the routine production layer: wire rewrites, agency copy, scheduled coverage, foreign-language monitoring. Investigation, original reporting, interviews and analysis remain human work. What changes is that those things stop competing for hours with the daily volume quota.
Who decides what gets published?
Your editors. The system can run in full auto mode, or hold every single article for human approval before publication, and this is configurable separately for each outlet and each section. An editor approves, revises or rejects. Human-written content can be inserted anywhere in the flow.
Where does the information come from?
From sources you nominate. Agency wires, news portals, institutional and corporate publications, official registers, databases and social platforms are all supported, in any language. The source list is configured once per outlet, after which collection runs automatically with no human effort spent on it.
What about photographs and video?
Each article is illustrated automatically, using only sources you are entitled to use: your own multimedia archive, and free or licensed stock libraries. Usage rights are configured in the system rather than checked manually afterwards.
How fast is it?
About one minute from the moment information becomes available to a publication-ready article, against roughly forty-five minutes of human work for the same piece. Across all active outlets the system produces more than ten thousand original articles a day.
How much does it reduce costs?
Routine editorial production costs fall by up to 95 percent, measured against a newsroom producing the same daily volume by hand. The comparison includes photo and video selection on both sides.
Can it run several different outlets?
Yes. There is no limit on brands, verticals or sections, and each keeps its own editorial stance, tone and content mix from the same platform. A section can override the profile of the outlet it belongs to, and editorial direction can be changed at any time.
Does it work in our language?
The system ingests in any language and publishes in any language, independently of each other. Sources your desk cannot read become usable coverage, and you can publish for markets you have never been able to serve.
How does it fit with our existing systems?
Newsmatic connects to your existing CMS. Integration is plug-and-play, and the system can either supplement an established newsroom or run a new outlet on its own. A complete audit trail is retained on every article.
How do we evaluate it?
On real output. Tell us the market, the language and the type of coverage, and we will show you what the system produces so your editors can judge volume, quality and speed against their own standards.
